the day-to-day dynamics of the regions

There is great beauty in the constant dialogue between our projects and the communities’ activities; it is fascinating to see how our proposals fit into the day-to-day dynamics of these regions.
While a parallel life unfolds in the rehearsal rooms, the workshop, and the office, there is a flurry of activity as our teams travel across the country, presenting shows—created over the years—in theaters and at festivals. These productions remain on stage due to the relevance of their themes, the need to preserve these stories of our cultural heritage, and the timeliness of the topics they address.
Thus, the month of October will feature more than a dozen off-site activities, including performances and workshops. We’ll be traveling to Vila do Conde, Porto, Viseu, Alcobaça, Vila Nova de Famalicão, Vila Praia de Âncora, Barreiro, Gondomar, and Espinho, with 5 different performances and 2 workshops.
Behind the scenes, there’s a whirlwind of rehearsals and preparations, with a team working feverishly to make the premiere of a show a reality—where everything is ready and balanced, and where everything comes together in a way that brings great satisfaction to everyone. This dynamic of collaborative teams is what led us to engage in dialogue with the Krisálida company over the course of several months.
In October, we premiered a new production, and this is always an important moment in the life of the company—the culmination of a creative process that is often very long, bringing together many teams, collaborators, and extraordinary artists, and in which the production was developed by the actors on stage, the director, and countless technical staff, and which now takes on a new life through its connection with the audience.
